This might not make any since to anyone but me but, I was in the car last night with my friend Carrie and we were listening to one of our favorite band, Amber Pacific (http://music.aol.com/artist/amber-pacific/2136437). They are a punk type band with lost of crazy drumming, no no dirty language or vulgar thoughts (other wise I wouldn't listen to them). We just love them. Carrie made a comment that I had never thought of while we was listening to them, she said, "It's so nice that I can listen to this and still feel the spirit." It's kind of crazy how true that was and how grateful I am that there is music with a beat like that has and still you can feel the spirit.
That got me to thinking about some other music and how when I listen to the lyrics it makes me think about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. One song that I was listening to a while ago that made me think this way is actually written to be a type of love song but if you think about it as if you are singing it to Christ it is super cool or maybe I am crazy.
